==============================================================================================================

The Assassin uses a simple, yet difficult to control moveset. Whilst he is capable of hard-hitting blows, his combos are tricky to connect have very little technical value, making repeated attacks difficult and mundane. What's more, his skill set is not exceptionally powerful in any way, bar the 4th skill which is actually overkill by itself.

Dodge:
  • Type: Smokebomb (Ground)
  • The agile Lass has his own set of evasion techniques but the Dodge move is a welcome to his other less agile classes.
  • Assassin's attack patterns tends to put him in risky situations, especially because his evasion move is limited even during his main combo. Dodge will help get him out in time if need be.
Inherent Techniques:
  • Continuous Jumps (↑ repeatedly after a double jump)
  • Assassin is uniquely able to continually perform his jumps in mid-air if he has enough air-time to keep doing so. Using a jump attack though, will cancel out this ability until he lands.
  • Rapid Descent (↓↓ during a double jump)
  • Allows Lass to quickly fall to the ground, this technique does not function on single jumps or after he attacks during a jump.

Otto:
  • Difficult to execute as Lass must place his back against an enemy.
  • Only practical for use against ground or cornered enemies.
  • Sustainability: Very Hard
Notes:
  • Assassin has strong physical attacks all around but a difficult to use combo system. Takes time getting used to.
  • His only and default method of evasion is only usable after the 2nd hit of his combo. This forces players to really mind their combo lest they get counterattacked.
  • Assassin can perform repeated dash attacks as long as you repeat the dash attack input without stopping. I pretty much call it "dancing", since he's really just hopping and chopping repeated.

==============================================================================================================
Skill Tree Setup:

Invisible: Shadow Vanish
Lass becomes invisible to enemy sight for 20 seconds. Invisibility remains as long as Lass does not connect an attack. Activating other shared skills and skills that hit nothing and even taking a hit will not affect the invisibility status. This technique is perfect for setting up a back attack with skills. 15 second cooldown.

Buff: Dash
For 10 seconds, Lass gains a burst of speed that improves his dashing and walking speed. 10 second cooldown. Assassin's dash speed is little affected by this. It merely increases the speed he zips across, asides from his walking speed.

Jump: Super Jump
An arcing high jump that brings you up 2 platforms higher. You are able to attack in your path of flight. 10 second cooldown.

==============================================================================================================
Skill Setup:

Tier 1:

Frenzy Sword
  • Type: Impact
  • Range: Short
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Short
  • Slashes twice and delivers a rising blow to his enemies, knocking them into the air.
  • The final blow which used to send enemies rocketing into the sky has been fixed.
  • Delay on the final blow has also been increased before it connects

Tier 2:

Splash Explosion
  • Type: Linear
  • Range: Mid
  • Damage: Multi
  • Animation: Short
  • Lashes his chain twice and swings it across for another 5 heavy hits.

Tier 3:

Deadly Sharp
  • Type: Linear, One-Shot
  • Range: Long
  • Damage: Burst
  • Animation: Short
  • Lass projects his energy forward and pierces his way across his enemies.
  • Quite infrequently, this attack can hit enemies twice. But the conditions for the occurrence are uncertain.

Tier 4:

Shadow Vanish
  • Type: Damage-Stack, Lock-On, DoT
  • Range: Wide
  • Damage: Burst
  • Animation: Long
  • Lass binds 5 of the nearest enemies and inflicts extreme damage to each of them, damage stacking becomes possible if enemies are bunched together when executed.
  • Enemies now take heavy damage as the chains bind them before ripping them apart for even more massive damage.
